Hatha Yoga

Hatha is the foundation of all styles of yoga; it has been around for 4000 years and continues to be the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world today.

Hatha is truly holistic practice and a great introduction to yoga, teaching mind, body and spirit to work in harmony.

It encourages you to practice in mindful way, connecting your movement with your breath, enabling you to stay focused in the present moment.

This in turn, helps you to de-stress, relax and stay fit, strong and healthy.

It promotes great self-awareness; correct alignment of poses; strength, flexibility, power, balance and your inner Jedi.

At Hummingbird, we offer Beginner and Intermediate Hatha classes.

Our popular Hatha classes for beginners are taught by Steve, one of the Partners in Hummingbird Pilates and Yoga. He offers a great introduction to yoga and our yoga studios. We believe it’s a great place to start your yoga practice and when you're ready to progress you can join the faster paced Intermediate Hatha class.
