Pregnancy Post Natal Yoga

Pregnancy Yoga is very different from traditional forms of Yoga. The emphasis of pregnancy yoga is on nurturing the mother. It gently prepares you for the birth of your baby and beyond, not just physically but also emotionally. Pregnancy yoga helps to keep the body strong and toned but without placing it under strain.

Our pregnancy yoga classes give you time to relax and focus on yourself, as well as helping you to bond you're your baby. We teach breathing techniques, which can be very effective in gently increasing lung capacity and are extremely helpful during labour.

Yoga is increasingly recommended to pregnant women because it is a gentle way of maintaining or regaining fitness, helping the body to prepare for the demands of labour, while reducing anxiety with breathing and relaxation techniques.

Pregnancy Yoga classes are suitable from 14 weeks right up until the birth. No previous experience of yoga is required.
